Damon Mechanical has successfully complete the Plumbing, HVAC & VRF systems for a 7 story Retail and 51-unit apartment building in the City of Portland.
This project is a radiant snowmelt system to reduce maintenance on the roof/patio area above Ladd Library, and utilize excess heat from their steam plant. Custom headers were made to fit under cement benches, and about 2 miles of pex pipe were laid under the pavers to warm the patio for snowmelt.
Radiant heat piping installed under a lifted building. The building will be lowered down onto the radiant slab to provide efficient heating for this existing structure.
Damon Mechanical installed new piping and mechanical systems at the MRRA’s Brunswick location. The new water entrance is pictured.
This project involved a new chiller system for the entire building, and installation of VRF heat pumps on the 1rst and 3rd floor, as well as outdoor VRF units.
Mechanical Systems were installed at Mt. Abram High School, including an air handling unit and a make-up air unit.
Water Tanks and Mechanical systems upgraded at the Merrill Gym Building at Bates College.
Damon Mechanical installed the mechanical systems at the Piper Shores Wayland Building. A large radiant heating system, boiler projects, and an additional portable pumphouse were built.
A large heating project in Scott Hall at the Farmington Campus of the University of Maine.
This gas conversion projects requires installation of 20 high-efficiency condensing natural gas boilers to replace antiquated oil-fired boilers in Auburn public housing.
