Damon Mechanical finishes at BEQ
Damon Mechanical has finished work on the new transient Bachelor Enlisted Quarters. This marks the end of a 16 month project for DMS. DMS was awarded the bid for the design and construction of the heating, air-conditioning, and plumbing in December of 2002. This design/build project was a cooperative effort between Korte Construction Co., JSA Architects, Damon Mechanical, and Enterprise Electric. The completed building has 250 rooms, each of which has a kitchenette, shower, water-closet and lavatory. A central laundry room, domestic hot water, and ventilation systems were also a part of this projects. Additionally, each room was heated and cooled by a natural gas fired PTAC system.
